The service manual shows how to adjust the deck height or “X”- distance for the piston protrusion.
The stainless-Steel tool is strong and will last a lifetime, the distance is precision laser cut into the tool so there is no need for a depth gauge.
On both the 250 and 300 the X distance are the same.
