A clutch holding tool is used for the disassembly and assembly of the clutch by locking the inner shaft and the outter basket enabling the retaining nut to be removed or tighten without damage to the parts.

Harley Clutch holding tool 84-89
Nice quality tool. Good snug fit in the clutch basket. Only cost £18 so absolutely no complaints. It’s impossible to get the clutch out of an early Evo without one of these (unless you’re a trained ape who thinks an air ratchet is appropriate) so it’s good to have one in the garage.
